Error using numbers with decimal and thousands separators in Japanese

I recently created a English-Japanese TM on the basis of tmx files (exported from a Passolo project) and all segments containing a number with decimal and thousands separators were considered invalid.
The picture below shows an example taken from the error file (I chose the 'Export invalid translation units' option):
Screenshot of Trados Studio error file showing a message 'Error: Other' followed by XML code with 'creationid' as 'PASSOLO', 'prop type' as 'Origin' and 'OriginalFormat' as 'Unknown'. An error message 'Too many elements found. The result was restricted to 1,000 elements. Please enter a more specific search query.' is displayed in English and Japanese.

I also faced this problem in Studio projects: Files containing decimal and thousands separators could neither be edited, nor updated nor saved in 2017 (in 2015, however, it worked).

Is this a bug or have I overlooked something?

I'm currently using 2017 SR1 14.1.6278.0

Thank you very much!
