Cannot open packages in Studio 2015

Question

I'm suddenly experiencing problems opening packages in Studio 2015. The following message is displayed: 
 Error processing command line arguments: Access to the path 'C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Application Data' is denied. 
 I&rsquo;ve seen suggestions in the SDL community to rename the folder, but AppData is a hidden folder. I&rsquo;m using Windows 10. 
 Has anyone got a solution for this? Any help/advice would be really appreciated.

I think we need to look at your machine with you. It's impossible for these folders not to be there so if we look at them together I'm sure we'll find them.

Just to close this one off... the problem was related to a piece of software called "Reason Core Security". That was getting hold of the temp files Studio needed to use to open the package. Once the application was removed Studio worked fine.
