If the dependency files are irretrievable, follow these steps:

1. Open the **original source file** in Trados Studio. Ensure you use the same segmentation rules as the original project.

Trados's default for temporary files is C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Temp 

If you saved and confirmed your work before the update, then the files up to the point they were saved, should be on your computer - Trados saves by default everything on the C drive in Documents.

Depending on which of these files you find - since I don't know what that update you mentioned implies in changes to your computer, you can either recreate the project from what you dins in temps or just open the project from the location in Documents if it was not deleted from there by the update in question.
