Trados Studio 2024 SR1 Crashes When Confirming Segment Containing LTR Characters

Hi, 
 
 I was working on a project that required entering left-to-right (LTR) character at both the beginning and the end of a specific segment ( segment 406 ). Whenever I attempted to confirm the segment using Ctrl+Enter , Trados Studio consistently crashed. 
 Please refer to the attached video, which demonstrates the issue and the exact steps leading to the crash. 
 Could you also provide a secure upload link so I can share the Trados package with your team for further investigation and reproduction of the issue?

The issue occurs after adding left-to-right marks into segments consisting only of variables and formatting tags, and trying to confirm these segments using the CTRL + Enter shortcut. It seems to be related with the QA Checker 3.0 > Punctuation option Check that source and target end in the same punctuation. After disabling this option in the project settings, the segments can be confirmed without any issues. 
 The problem was logged for RWS Development, as CRQ-45868 , so they can implement a fix in a future version of Trados Studio.
