All of sudding the text is my Translation Result pane is limited to a very small portion of the complete pane (see screenshot). I tried F11 to reset the windows layout, but to no avail. Does anybody have solution?
In Editor go to View menu and select "Reset window layout".

Thanks, that seemed to do the trick. Will add more information next time. I was simply to quick clicking on the send button. Afterwards, I realised that some essential information might be missing.
So, this worked for about an hour or so and now the layout has changed again. BTW, this is Trados Studio 2024 SR1 - 18.1.3.6657 under W11 pro. I guess I can reuse this reset function, but if I have to reapply it every odd hour or so, something else must be the problem. BTW, I juist tried the reset option and it doesn't do anything (anymore).

I had the same problem once on our side as well after upgrading to the most recent version of 2024 SR1. Reset window layout did not work, but Reset window layout followed by a restart of Studio was successful and the problem did not appear again later. Might be good to know that it is not a one user problem.

It is also worth to know, that all these settings (including shortcuts and font adaptation and many more) are stored in a user profile. So after having setup Studio as desired it is advisable to export the user profile to a file and keep a copy of that file in a safe location. This way restoring Studio settings is very easy.
Should reset window layout not work, as described by Renate, a profile reset or reloading of an exported profile is also a good idea. After such resets a restart of Studio is always advisable.

I did a complete restart of my computer and everything was as usual. Thanks for the suggestion.
File -> Setup -> Manage user profiles
