Hi,
I installed Trados on my Mac a few days back.
I want to customize keyboard shortcuts which are my most used ones.
I went to the Options → Keyboard shortcuts menu and tried to change the "Confirm and move to the next unconfirmed segment" shortcut to Command+Enter from Control+Enter.
But when I click the box to change it, the box doesn't accept the Command button and shows up empty.
Has anyone else done this successfully? I need help

If your Mac keyboard settings are standard, CTRL should be Command and Enter should be Return.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I managed to fix it.
Another issue I’m facing is with the Russian language, which appears every time I press the language switch shortcut. I’ve checked the language settings, and there is no Russian added to the keyboard. However, it still shows up every time in Trados when I use the shortcut.

Most probably your chosen shortcut is used in Windows to switch keyboards. This setting needs to be changed in Trados or adapted in Windows. Maybe this can help you: support.microsoft.com/.../manage-the-language-and-keyboard-input-layout-settings-in-windows-12a10cb4-8626-9b77-0ccb-5013e0c7c7a2

Thanks for your response! The language switch shortcut works fine in Trados and switches between languages as expected, so that's not the issue. The problem is that I only use English and Azerbaijani, but Russian also appears when I use the shortcut in Trados. I’ve already checked the installed languages on Windows 11, and Russian isn’t listed as an available keyboard language. I’m attaching a screenshot for reference.

I have 2 languages installed for the keyboard - Azerbaijani and English. However Russian characters also show up when I switch the language in Trados.
There is no option of switching languages of keyboard in Trados Studio. So I still wonder what do you really mean. Where do you see Cyrillic characters?

Make sure your project is in Latin Azerbaijani. There are two options in Trados, Latin and Cyrillic, with both of them sharing the same flag icon. Actually Elisa asked you to share a screenshot of your Project Settings to check your Language pair rather than your Windows language settings.
Press the Project Settings icon in Trados to invoke the Project Settings window. Expand its left pane so that you can read the specific language pair at the end of the tree and make a screenshot to share it here.

Please see string 38. Those are Azerbaijani Crylic letters which are already the same with Russian. I have checked the language icon on the button bar and there are 3 languages - English, Azerbaijani Latin, and Azerbaijani Cyrillic as you see from the SS. However, on the Window keyboard settings, there is no Azerbaijani Crylic installed. I wonder how this happens.
Thank you. Finally I do understand your problem. Unfortunately, now I have no idea where this characters do come from. Have you tried another keyboard layouts, like the first one listed here?

If you don't use the Az Cyrillic, then probably you can remove it. Try this video: www.youtube.com/watch
However, I am not a Mac user, I don't know if this procedure applies to Mac computers. The idea is that you need to remove the Cyrillic-based version. It doesn't show up in your Windows language settings but it does show up in your keyboard layout settings.
