3 errors appear when I am trying to open files of the current projects

Hello,

Could you please help with error messages that appear when I am trying to open files from any of the current projects?

I press "Projects" (left bottom of the screen), then I press a project name of the list, and the project file appears. I press the file name, but the following three errors appear (one after another, when I press the file name again):

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

"Key not found: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx' Parameter name: key."

"Argument 'viewPartReference' cannot be null. Parameter name: viewPartReference."

Following the suggestions that I have found in the Forums of this community, I have renamed the folders "17" and "Studio17", and besides, I have reinstalled Trados. Nevertheless, the issue persists.

Thank you in advance.

  • Hello Ekaterina,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Trados Studio. Based on the error messages you've provided, it seems like there might be a problem with the project files or the Trados Studio software itself. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Ensure that you have the latest updates for Trados Studio installed. You can check for updates within the application.

Step 2: Try to open the project files in a different Trados Studio project. If the files open successfully, the issue might be with the specific project you're trying to access.

Step 3: If the issue persists, you might need to revert to a previous version of Trados Studio. To do this, you'll need to uninstall your current version of Trados Studio and then install an older version. Please note that you should only do this if you're comfortable with the process and understand that it might affect other aspects of the software.

Step 4: If none of the above steps work, it might be necessary to create a new project and import the files again. This can help to eliminate any issues with the original project setup.

Please remember to back up your work before making any changes to your software or projects. If you continue to experience issues, it might be worth reaching out to a Trados Studio expert for further assistance.

I hope this helps and you're able to resolve the issue soon.

    Best regards,
