I understand your concern about the hyperlinks not being extracted for translation in Excel bilingual files in Trados Studio 2022. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot this issue:

Step 1: Ensure that the Bilingual Excel file type is enabled. You can do this by going to File -> Options -> File Types. If it's not enabled, check the box next to it.

Step 2: Check the order of the file types. Trados Studio will process your Excel file with whatever filter it finds first. If the Bilingual Excel file type comes before the regular Excel file type in the list, the Bilingual Excel file type will be used to process your file. If it comes after the regular Excel file type, then the regular Excel filter will be used. You can adjust the order or disable the regular Excel file type to ensure the Bilingual Excel filter is used.

Step 3: Check the settings for the Bilingual Excel file type. Make sure you have set the correct source and translation columns.

Step 4: If you've made changes to the settings after a file had been added to a project and prepared, you would need to remove the file, add it, and prepare it again for the new settings to go into effect.

Please note that the Bilingual Excel filter does not recognize text-level formatting (e.g. bold, italics, font, color applied to individual words or phrases). However, cell formatting can be preserved by unchecking the "Preserve Target Style" checkbox in the file type settings.

I tested this using Bilingual Excel and also the Multilingual Excel file type. In both cases you are right. It's not apparent.

In the meantime, I have raised a request with the Trados AppStore Team to see what can be done to better support hyperlinks using the MultiLingual Excel File type.

You can solve this using the Multilingual Excel filetype.  Anything written in html is automatically picked up correctly, but if the url is on its own without markup then just add a placeholder rule like this:

\b(?:https?://|www\.)\S+\b

So for this test file: url.xlsx

You get this:

You can also handle this with the Bilingual Excel filetype if you use these two embedded content rules (in the same order):

Thank you for your replies and for your solution @Paul Filkin. What we need in fact it´s to have all the hyperlinks in all cells in the Excel bilingual file type to be extracted as translatable, so you would have the cell with the text displaying the hyperlink with the tags in a segment, and then the underlying hyperlink in the next segment (the same you would get if you check the Extract hyperlinks options in the regular Excel file type). In your solution, the hyperlinks were extracted as a placeholder and therefore are not translatable.   
The idea is that we want to use the bilingual file to import into the memory all the content already translated in the two columns, and that includes all the hyperlinks (both the text and the underlying hyperlinks). Any suggestions on how to do that?
