Are your versions of MultiTerm and your version of Studio up to date with each other on versions?

You can find this out by opening MultiTerm and going to the Help tab then clicking 'Check for Updates'. You can repeat the procedure with Studio but if you only open Studio normally, it is likely that it's your version of MultiTerm that is out of date.

And if this were the case how do i update multiterm? Do you know? I bought my version a bout a month ago.

Thanks so much I can now add a term but I cant open multiterm any more. I did not update multiterm because it was updated, but I updated studios because that's the one unupdated. After updting studio, i was able to add a term but I cant open multiterm. can you help me with this :)?

Now that you've updated your version of Studio, you need to in turn update your version of MultiTerm via MultiTerm > Help > Check for updates...

If you can't open MultiTerm, then try a Windows Repair of the MultiTerm components, as here:

1. Close all SDL applications.
2. Open the Control Panel:
   • Windows Vista/7: Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
   • Windows 8: Right-click on the screen at bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel > Uninstall a Program.
   • Windows 10: Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features
   • - or type 'Control Panel' in the search line on your bottom Windows toolbar.
3. Click/highlight the relevant SDL product from the list (e.g. SDL Trados MultiTerm 2019 etc) and click 'Repair' either on the top toolbar or on the right-click dropdown menu.
4. Restart MultiTerm.

Select 'Installation' from the 'Case type' dropdown menu.

Someone will help in the next day or two if you give your correct email address.
