I have tested this in both 2019 and 2017 and the behaviour is the same.

If you make changes to your TM settings, the default option will be to go to the TM view as this would be the logical next step.

Thanks for taking the time to test it. I don't quite agree with you: For a professional translator, who often needs to make adjustments say to the field contents to be used for updating the segments, it slows down productivity if you always land on the TM view although a file is open in the editor.

I fully agree with you and I can reproduce this behaviour with my Studio 2019 SR2 Freelance.

I was hoping that Studio 2019 SR2 might have rectified this behaviour as this is not a logical step to be moved to the TM View when you are actually working in the Editor View.

Also, it is worth noting that this behaviour occurs whether or not actual changes are being made to the TM settings - simply looking at the TM settings in Project settings is enough to be taken (against my will) to the TM View!
