Over-flow error and background display error

Dear professionals,

1. I have problems with SDL Trados Studio 2019 starter version. I tried to open a program for translation, only some lines appeared but the remaining lines are left in blank. Immediately after I opend the program, an error, namely, "Background Layout Error" appeared with the following message:

"Font 'Arial Unicode Ms’ cannot be used to display the text:"

There are 2 buttons, "OK" and "Cancel" in the message box.  When I clicked “cancel”, the message disappeared but it appeared repeatedly.


2. “Overflow error” appeared with no particular message. When this error appeared, the screen was frozen and I could not do anything.

My OS is Windows10 and the languages I use for translation are English and Japanese.

As I need to solve the above problems as soon as posible by all means, please let me have your help.

PS. I tried to buy SDL Support and Maintenance Agreement but was told that I was not entitled since the product I puchased is the SDL Trandos Studio starter version.

    Thank you very much for sending the following instructions.
     
    I tried to follow one of the instructions given in the CommunityKnowledge which you kindly sent to me.
    The instructions I followed are:
     
    1. Go to File -> Options -> Editor -> Formatting display style -> Show all tags but do not show formatting
    2. Close SDL Trados Studio
    3. Reopen the file
     
    Unfortunately, the above did not solve my problem so that I cancelled the change I made.
     
    The strange symptom of my problem is that out of 4 Trados packages I recived from my translation agent, I could open 2 of them and work on them with no problem.
    However, when I tried to open the remaining 2 pakages, only a part of the package opened and the remaining part was left in blank.
    The overflow error message and background display error message appear only in the packages which did not open in full.
     
    In the CommunityKnowledge article, there was another suggestion to work on registry but I hesitated to touch registry due to the fact that
    the problem occur to only 2 packages out of 4.
     
    I would be very glad if you have any other suggestions on how to solve the problem of “overflow error” and “background display error”.
