White spaces won't dissapear in the editor of Trados 2017, despite pressing the toggle button

Question

Hello,

Recently I have reinstalled Trados 2017 on a new Windows 10 computer and when I was translating yesterday, I activated the white spaces in the "Home" tab, but when I pressed the toggle button to de-activate them, they didn't disappear (they only disappeared in the translation memory window).
When I created the project again in the hope that the problem would be fixed, the white spaces wouldn't in turn appear.

Do you know how to solve this problem?

 As noted in the thread Ali pointed you to it has been reported to support already and they have acknowledged it's a bug. I just checked on this and the refresh problem that causes this has been fixed already. I don't have a release date for this yet but I expect it to be in the next update.

Hi again 
 I wrote a long reply to you first agreeing with both of Jerzy Czopik 's posts but it appears to have vanished, I must have clicked incorrectly. Anyway, I now see that Peter Bolin has suggested the same as I then did, to install the previous versions again. 
 Here are shortcuts to download them: 
 SDL Trados Studio 2017 CU15 
 SDL MultiTerm 2017 CU7 
 You will need to first uninstall Studio and MultiTerm 2017 via the 'Remove suite of projects' shortcut for each of them reached via Control Panel > Small Icons > Programs and Features... 
 No need to release your license, it will associate itself to your next installation of Studio. 
 Restart your PC then install Studio first, then MultiTerm. 
 Then, it would be a good idea to run a Windows Repair as described in the following knowledge page: 
 Repairing your SDL Studio/MultiTerm installation

 It is the logical thing to do, if a cumulative update causes unexpected issues, to return to the previous update until the problem has been resolved.

 This is interesting! 
 Take a look at the following thread: 
 Two functions not working in Studio 2017 after the install of CU 16 
 Both Peter Bolin and Joel Earnest are experiencing this occurrence too, since installing the latest cumulative update of Studio 2017. 
 What I can do, though, is ask Paul Filkin and Daniel Brockmann to look into this as it is obviously happening since the launch of Studio 2017 CU16. I did not experience this myself as I don't have a 2017 license any more. 
 So, basically this issues that the toggle function is not working on whitespaces or on tag displays. 
 I hope that a solution can be found soon...
