I can't find the Search and Replace icons. I tried Customization of Ribbon and I found the Replace icon and clicked on the middle button to move it to the third column, but I didn't press Add. Now I can't even find the Replace icon.
Can anyone provide me with idiot-proof step-by-step instructions? Thank you!

I found them! They're at the extreme right in the HOME tab ruler. I need to include them up on the top left hand function options. If anyone can tell me how, I will be much obliged. Also......why is Merge Segments not activated? It's colorless, i.e. not usable.
In the top left corner you have a small down arrow to customize the Quick Access bar, i.e. those icons in the top left corner.
PS.: Another option is to press the shortcut CTRL+F to bring the Find and Replace dialog box up.
Thank you so much Jesus. It worked! Although I could not find Search and Repeat in the long list, but it doesn't matter because they are visible now at the extreme right of the screen.
I have the other question which is why are the merge and split segment icons deactivated? I mean they are not dark, they are pale -- how can I activate these icons?
