I believe this may have been caused during the upgrade/update process and that your PC was not rebooted when prompted.

You should be able to resolve this by following these instructions and renaming the folder-

Hi Steven,

I followed those instructions and the issue is still occurring. Previously, the update said that it was installed correctly. Would it be worth uninstalling Studio 2019 and reinstalling fresh? I rechecked the folder, and no new Telemetrics folder was created after renaming the previous one after running the update installer, so the service is still failing to start.

Reinstalling the software will not always help in such cirmustances as often a reinstall will simply reinstall a corrupt installation over a corrupt installation.

In this case I would first try to reset Studio

If the issue persists, please log a licenseing and installtion support ticket via your SDL account.

You do NOT need a support contract for installation issues.

Yeah, resetting Studio with Freshstart did not help. I'll log a support ticket. Thanks for your suggestions!
