I think we need a little more information to understand the issue here

When you mention

If you are working on a project (your own creation or one sent to you by a client) you need to ensure the TM (s) are attached and enabled-

If you are using Google/Language Cloud machine translation then you should ensure you are logged into your SDL Account

Once you are logged in you can select your MT provider

Thank you for your reply.

When I work on the project, I am logged in, and the Cloud TM is ticked in Project Settings, however as soon as I open my file, nothing happens. When I do back to the Project Settings the Cloud TM is unticked. If I log into my cloud account in a web browser, it is still showing 50 procent character allowance, and I can translate it from there, but this is not what I want to do.

I hope this sheds more light on my issue.

I'm wondering if maybe your firewall is interfering with your connection to Language Cloud machine translation?
Could you please check the below:
- enable port 443 on your computer,
- and add the following websites as exceptions in your firewall:
lc-api.sdl.com
languagecloud.sdl.com
cxc-languagecloud.sdl.com

I can see that you previously logged a support ticket for this issue for which the support engineer gave the followig solution:

During the remote session I removed the Language Cloud information from your computer and I add it again so language cloud will identify the language pair you are using for the current running project.

I also reset user settings as mentioned in the article bellow:

However, if the issue is repeating itself please do log another support case and reference the previous support number. They will be able to help you.
