"temp" file missing after cleanup

Question

After running a general cleanup to remove superfluous files, I receive an error message on startup that a dependency file is missing 
 (file name &hellip;\Local\Temp\...\1nexbrgz.px3.xml), despite the error message Studio opens. 
 However, after running a Verify, a similar error message appears and the Verify pane fails to open. 
 Question: How can I correct this problem? If they are not "temp" files, why are they stored in this directory?

My first thought would be that you should run a Studio repair as the 'cleanup' may have deleted certain (temp) files- can happen if Studio was still running/not closed down correctly during the cleanup. 
 
Next (if the problem persists) try the following as described in theis previous thread-

The solution was to recreate the project; it do not suffice to reimport the source file (fortunately, only a small project was involved). 
But the basic "bug" remains, the missing file should not be stored in a TEMP directory.
