The usual way if you have the Freelance version is to go to your SDL Account Licenses page and you will see against your license entry 'Return License'

Click on that.

However, as you're in an error situation that may not work. In that case - and if you have a Professional license - go to this page:

liveagentlicensing

There you will see the following:

Click on 'Request License Reset' on the right-hand button then fill out the brief form that pops up.

Don't navigate away because someone will come back to you via live chat, usually immediately.

Then you can discuss the problem you're having and ask them to reset your license for you.

('Submit Case' opens a longer form that is sent to them by email)

The 'Return license' button isn't for giving up your license for good.

You can still get help instantly via live chat, in the way I described above.

Sorry my wording gave the impression you could only get free help if you have a Professional license. I'll change the wording!

I meant that for some reason a 'Return license' button is only present on the Licenses page for Freelance licenses, or at least that is the case in my list of licenses, no idea why.

Go to gateway.sdl.com/liveagentlicensing and they will soon sort your problem out for you!

It just means that SDL's software hasn't caught up with the fact that you've now got the possibility to use it on both computers. It will eventually but it can take months. If you want to continue without having to swap the license between the two, I wouldn't flag it up to them if I were you [;)]
