The easiest way to hide all tags is by going to the Options command group of the ribbon Tab called View. Then click on the icon as shown

When the content of your document has actual html tags, that's another story and that's what Paul's thorough article explains. However, I can't possibly think of an instance where you are translating text mixed up with html tags. Translators, even when translating html files (say, web pages) seldom need to even see the actual html tags.

I figured it out for the most part. I was following the instructions in the article, but i was missing one final step. I opened up the original file as a new project in studio and that applied the changes from my settings to the project. Now my issue is that i want my project to appear like this:

 My project currently looks like this :

I would like to have the text between tags to show up as a separate segment, so that my translation memory will recognize those segments as previously translated. Is this possible?
