Bonkers! I swapped the screenshot file in my Dropbox with something else, and can't find the previous file. Anyway, the original screenshot depicted a .docx file converted with multiple graphical artifacts, as compared to the neat and orderly original PDF.

But the question remains: is Solid's performance on par with, say, the Acrobat converter, or am I not to expect such performance from this feature? Note that, as mentioned, the same file was converted by Acrobat nicely (though with a tag error...).

I guess if you just posted the image into the thread instead of linking it you'd see what you did as you go. Use the advanced editing options and you can add images and files, apply formatting etc.

On Solid... I mentioned IRIS because this is a superior OCR technology and it's available to you free in Studio 2017. So why would you keep asking about Solid when you already have a better solution available to you in Studio? I don't know if Solid is better than Adobe or not... it probably depends on the source... one may be better than others.

I also think your best bet is to convert a PDF first using whatever your preferred solution is for the source file you have.  Then clean up the OCR'd file and translate the DOCX instead.  Always a better approach for PDF files in my opinion.
