I am initiating this thread which will seem familiar to many, only it keeps on recurring over and over again and I do not know why. Therefore seeking help please. Thank you in advance.
Both error messages are more and more frequently appearing when I use Trados Studio 2017. I have followed the instructions advised on the forum (rename folders), it works but the problem is that it is recurrent.

Can you confirm you have followed BOTH of the following steps please-
First of all go to-
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0
Then rename the TranslationMemoryRepository.xml to TranslationMemoryRepository.xml_OLD.
Next step is then to reset Studio
Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0
If you have tried this and it still does not work- could you provide the stack trace?
Are you able to provide the error stack?
