Error updating main TM in Trados Studio 2017

Hello! I'm trying to use the batch task to update main memories in Trados 2017. The projects have one general file based TM and, secondarily, MyMemory with a key for the project.

I'm getting the error I'm attaching. I don't even know whether the TMs are being updated!

What does this mean and how can I correct the situation?

Thanks in advance...

  • Hi ,

The problem seems to be coming from the MyMenory plugin. I suggest you disable it and try the update again, if it works you have verified the problem and can report it to the MyMemory team.

Secondly, perhaps make sure you have the Professional version of MyMemory as I believe only the paid version supports updates... but I could be wrong about that. Best to ask the MyMemory team.

You can find their contact details on the app record in the AppStore.

  • Hi John Narins,

This bug will be fixed in MyMemory 3.11.3.

We could reproduce this issue with the following steps:
    1. open a document with "translate a single document."
    2. select MyMemory as TM.
    3. open the settings and make sure the right key is checked.
    4. translate the document.
    5. go to batch tasks and hit "update main TMs".
    It gives the error.

We will upload the new version probably next week.

    Best regards,
    Henk
