Google Drive doesn't seem to be supported, when you choose the "Get link" option from the context menu. The online termbase doesn't accept it, even if we change the permissions for the link on the Drive. If we manage to link images from Google Drive, there's no preview and we do find it important to have one. We have a few other workarounds, but all of them are quite cumbersome and we're thinking of an easier solution.

Nothing has changed as far as I'm aware.  I haven't used this for years to be honest as I don't see termbases with images very much these days.  But the best way to check is to work in reverse.  So create a small termbase with a few terms and images. 

Then export to Excel and see what you get, making sure that you define the fields correctly when you convert (I used the Glossary Converter for the conversion):

This gets me this in Excel:

And a folder like this containing my images:

So the "trick" seems to work.  If I then go backwards and convert a copy of the Excel file and my folder into a termbase I get this:

I'd recommend you also create a new thread for your questions because this thread has already been marked with a verified answer so it's easy to miss your questions.  better to create the new thread and just link to one you think is relevant.

But all seems to work as it says on the tin!
