Incorrect Verification term

Rather than using the term "Bereich" that has a 100% match (as present in the TB), Verify choose to use "Bereit" (also present in the TB) that obviously fails to match and so produces a false positive.

cScreenshot of Trados Studio showing a terminology verification error. The term 'Bereit' is used instead of 'Bereich', resulting in a false positive.ive.

  • Thank you for your clear notes

Please can you confirm the following:

    • What version of Studio are you working with?
    • Is your MultiTerm version up to date and aligned with Studio?
    • Have you tried to reorganise your term base. For assistance on this please see here
    • Can you also try different settings when it comes to the term threshold.  For assistance on this please see here

I hope that between updated version, a term reorg and an assessment of term recognition settings, we can resolve this.

If not, do let me know so I can help you further. Looking forward to your confirmation

  • Hi Lydia, thanks for your feedback. To answer your questions.

    1. Studio/Multiterm 2019 - both up-to-date.
    2. I have reorganised the TB.
    3. I have tried threshold settings 67, 90 and 100 - no change for today's situation.

The situation today is a little different: the "Bereich" problem has gone, but there is a new (same) problem with "im" today.

Screenshot of Trados Studio showing no warnings after running 'Verify' with the message 'An error has occurred while opening external TB file'.
