This seems to be your browser preventing the download - please make sure to select to Keep the downloaded .exe file or Allow it - depending on the browser you are using, you should get the option to keep or allow the installer.

 Please ensure that Trados is included in the exceptions list of your antivirus software, and let us know if it works after making this adjustment.

 when you click on More info - you should have an option Run Anyway

Click it and this should start the installation. 
 As for the file to add to the antivirus, depending on where you saved the .exe for Trados (automatically goes in Downloads unless you changed that path), open that folder and select the .exe as exception.

 If yes, then it creates a shortcut on the desktop . Or you just search Multiterm in Windows search bar.

 Please try this workaround and let us know if works: 
 
 Close all RWS applications. 
 Go to the following folder: NOTE: If you do not find this folder, make sure that these files are not hidden. See KB article Showing hidden files, folders and extensions on Windows operating systems 
 
 MultiTerm Desktop 2026: 
 
 Windows 7/8/10/11 : C:\Users\ %UserName% \AppData\Roaming\Trados\ MultiTerm\MultiTerm19

Rename the following XML files (for example, add an underscore before/after the file name):
 
 BaseSettings.xml 
 Plugincache.xml 
 UserSettings.xml 
 Settings.xml

Restart MultiTerm Desktop.
