We are using SDL Tridion docs, Publication manager 14.0.1 and XMETAL 12.
From XMETAL I can only insert ish conditions on table rows from plain text view, by copying the conditions from a paragraph to the row.
In tags on view or normal view only the left column is conditionalized, even if I select the whole row.
Is there a way to make ish conditons work from tags on view and normal view?
This is purely from memory and in no sense official guidance, but I seem to remember it taking quite precise cursor positioning to work on the row element and not the cell in XMetaL. Do you get any different result if you start from where you were but then nudge the cursor left slightly with the arrow key?
Thanks Joe. Even if I select the whole row only the first column is conditionalized. The only way I can set a condition on the row is from the plain text view, Even then in tags on view, I cannot see the name of the condition. I only see the row highlighted in yellow.
This is unlike how ish conditions are shown elsewhere. Here you see the name of the condition.
For what it's worth, since tags on views don't show the row element, I always go to the plain text view to handle conditions on rows. That is the only way I've found to do it, and I haven't seen a way to display the name in tags on view in XMetal. It does show in the preview of pubs manager though.
