Hi Everyone,
I m new to SDL Tridion Docs technology.
I have Configured email notification when a status of my workflow changes.I have created background task for this by using Xml Write Plugin Settings.xml file.
I have followed all the steps but mail is not triggering to my mail id when status gets changed.
How to trouble shoot this?where can i find the related log files?
What are the debugging techniques for the same?
Can anybody help me to fix this?

Hi Kiran. I'm just starting today on this problem too. Did you ever get it resolved? I notice you're referring to making the background task in the Write Plugin settings. I understand the changes should go into Background Task Plugin settings. There must also be changes in the Registry of the server it's executing on, and of course, there has to be an SMTP server that's set up to act as a relay. (Your IT department is key here.)
