I am a new user of Studio 2021. I downloaded the Subtitling app to work on a package and when I open the project it says this. I downloaded the recommended files on Trados 2021 but nothing seems to work. Can you help me please? Thanks in advance

If that package was created without using a supported filetype for subtitling then that would be the reason. If you look in the files view for your project package what is the filetype identifier that is being used?

Hi Paul, I have this :
Go to "File - Options - Filetypes" and check if you see a link on top saying something like "Additional file types are available, click here to ..."
Click on this link and you should see the missing file type "Subtitle" that will then be installed.
I already did that and downloaded all that was available for studio freelance 21. I then restarted again the computer (three times at least). But it didn't work.
What you did installed the filetype for the standard project template, which means that this will apply to new projects that you create.
You mentioned that you open this file inside a project package that you received. You need to check - as Paul suggested - what filetype has been used to create the package you received. If this file was not created with the Subtitle filetype. then you will not be able to work on this file and need to ask the creator of the package to recreate the package with the correct filetype.
