Black Screens

Question

Hi. I had to reinstall my computer recently and since then I have been having black screens on Trados 2017 again. Paul Filkin helped me solve the problem last time. Does anyone know the solution?

There is really nowhere near enough information here for anyone else to be able to help you. Black screens are normally the result of operating system issues, outdated drivers, faulty hardware etc. 
 
But just in case... the last time I worked on resolving your Hi-Res issues with workaround 3 from here: 
 
 kb.sdl.com/ 
 
This somehow resolved your black screen too. Have you tried this again, and have you also made sure that you have all the latest drivers installed after your reinstall?

That article was related to DPI issues and not the black screen specifically. It was this one:
