"The update application has been updated and must restart in order to continue"

Question

Hello, 
 As of today I started getting the "update application has been updated and must restart in order to continue" message. 
 The first couple time it appeared nothing happened. The third time it connected and I updated successfully SDL Trados Studio 2015 SR2 - 12.2.5195.7. 
 But the message still pops up each time I launch Studio, when I click, sometimes it does nothing two times and then disappears but at other times it connects starts to download and then says that the application is up to date. 
 
 Any idea about what to do if anything? 
 Fortunately, so far it hasn't affected the ability to work with Studio.

Hi Ilya, 
 
You can deactivate the check for automatic updates from File > Options > Automatic Updates. This way you avoid having that message popping up every time you launch Studio. 
 
I am still working on a permanent solution for this issue.

Hi Ilya, 
 Another solution that worked for me, as I had the same problem, was to do this: 
 
 Delete this folder: c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio4\Updates\ 
 Manually run these two files you can download from KB #9268 (they are inside the zip you download) Studio-KB9268-7.msp WorldServerComponents-KB9268-6.msp 
 This will add the latest version of StudioUpdateClient.exe to the newly recreated folder you just deleted as well as apply the latest update (don't worry if you already have this updated... it won't hurt) 
 Restart Studio 
 
 That solved the issue for me.
