How to restore Studio icons for Studio files?

Question

Dear Studio 2015 users, 
 I seem to have lost the Studio icon for Studio files since I migrated to Windows 10. Instead of displaying the icon that shows the file is a Studio file (be it a TM, termbase or sdlxliff file), now I only see a generic, plain icon next to Studio files. 
 
 Is there a way to bring back the correct icons for these files?

I just ran a repair and it fixed the problem!! I am so glad I did not have to go through that edit registry route you mentioned in your Plan B:) 
The repair took less than five minutes. Everything got so fast with the new computer haha!

 The only problem there is... How does one avoid every filetype then having the same icon, i.e. that of the program itself, either Studio or MultiTerm?

 Can I suggest reinstalling SDL Trados Studio 2015, checking for updates then make sure your version of MultiTerm is up also to date by opening it and checking for updates. Then run a Windows Repair on both. 
 Then, if reinstalling has not solved the issues you can ask someone at SDL for free help, here: 
 installation and licensing help 
 Select 'Installation' from the 'Case type' dropdown and tell them that the problems occurred after installation and, most importantly, give your correct email address so that they can contact you. If you give them the link to this thread to them and they'll be able to see what you have tried already.

Yep. But if you want your icons back! 
 
You can share stuff... but you need to remember you are trying to make a filebased solution behave like its bigger brother (GroupShare), and this is going to require a little more care and attention.
