Quick Add New Term box

Question

Hello! 
 I would like to know if there is a possibility of not opening the Termbase box every time I Quick Add a new term in Trados Editor, as you then need to close the box again and this makes you lose some valuable seconds, in my opinion.

Hi, Álvaro, I guess you mean the Termbase Viewer. If it gets in your way by opening because you don't have it visible all the time, my suggestion would actually be the opposite: anchor it to your window so there's no opening and closing. I always keep it either below or above the Term Recognition pane.

This is the default setting of the window "Termbase Viewer", docked on the left-hand edge of the Editor. The window is set to "AutoHide". You can check this by moving your mouse over the pin on right-hand side of the title bar of this window, it should say "AutoHide". 
 
If it does not, you can change this by right-clicking on the pin and selecting "AutoHide". You may also simply reset your Window layout (View - Reset Window Layout).

Ha ha, nope. SDL wants it to pop open EVERY SINGLE TIME, FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. In CafeTran, and most other CAT tools, you can swiftly and easily add terms on the fly. Not in the so-called market leader however. 
 
God how I hate it.
