Hi there - when I attempt to open the trados 2015 find/find and replace function, the function is displayed in the windows toolbar but remains minimized, and I am unable to access it. Has anyone had a similar experience with this? I also had to force open trados from the toolbar at one stage last week by maximizing it with the right mouse button menu. Anyone got any idea of a possible solution? I didn't realise how unbelievably frustrating it is to not be able to use the function! Thanks, Rob

Hi Everyone,
As a workaround, I suggest doing the following:
1. Type Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the task manager
2. Select the "Processes" tab
3. Find Trados Studio process and expand the arrow to see all the windows
4. Right click "Find and Replace" and select "Switch to" and "Bring to Front"
* The same thing should work when Trados Studio is stuck minimized and you cannot see it

Thanks for the screenshot! That is definitely strange...
It's not only Find and Replace either, you have other buttons that are grayed out that shouldn't be:
My only guess would be to try using "Reset Window Layout" under the View tab when this happens.
Also, any other clues you could post to reproduce the problem would be helpful as someone from SDL could escalate it to the development team (in case it isn't logged already).
For example, does it happen with certain files? Or after a certain sequence of a commands?
