Hi Ana,

Thank you for your reply. I have open Studio as an Administrator and checked for updates. There is one to be done but I get the same error message each time I try to download the update files.

Is there something else that can be done?

Please disable automatic updates on Trados 2021, and let me know if this step solves the issue.

To do that please open Trados 2021 and go to File > Options.
In the Options dialog, select Automatic Updates from the navigation tree.
Uncheck the option for Automatically check for updates when the application starts.
Press OK to save your changes.

Thank you for this suggestion, Ana.

Unfortunately, it did not work. I still get the same error message.

To give you some more information, when I click on "open the file for translation", I get another error message: "There is an error in XML document (1, 76)".

I have already tried the various workarounds suggested in this forum for this error, without success.

Is there nything you might be able to suggest to solve this?
