Trados Studio 2024 : Unstable display of Windows in Multiscreen set up

My computer is showing unstable display of screens after recent Windows Update (Trados Studio 2024 SR1 - 18.1.4.6694). At first, I thought that changes made in Regedit trying to solve the way-too-long closing of applications and shutting off Windows were the culprit. I'm sorry to say that I do not remember what were the manipulations in Regedit (I know, not sa good idea!).

Right now, the display problems are : weird and unstable display on both screens, components of Trados Studio windows are flashing (screen getting bigger or smaller, flashing, etc.), a few flashing problems with other screen not displaying Trados. Here is the list of what I tried so far :

  • Close and Restart Trados and Windows
  • Click on the reset Window Layout tool
  • Repair of Trados using Windows functionality
  • Choosing Trados Model
  • Close previous work and reinstalling of the project
  • Tried to work with smaller size screen in Trados
  • Windows Update

Other informations : some of the files I'm working on are on older version of Word. There is no error message for now.

Thank you for any help about that, since I'm on a time-sensitive context.

    Claude

NET framework is not responsible for display, afaik. The culprit might be outdated graphics driver. How old is your PC? Have you checked all cable connections? It really seems to be a hardware or driver problem.
