po-up windows do not appear after changing direction of movement between screens

Hello everybody.

I work with SDL Trados Studio 2021 Freelance Plus
I recently changed the direction of movement between the screens. I work with. Until then, I would move from screen 1 (the laptop) to the auxiliary screen on the right.
Due to changes in the logistics of my work area, the auxiliary screen ended up on my left, so now the movement between screens goes to the left.

When working with Trados and performing a search, the pop‑up window does not appear. It shows up minimized on the taskbar when I hover the cursor over the icon, but I don't have access to the window in order to work with it.

The first thing I tried was undoing the change and going back to square one. It didn’t work.

How can I solve this problem?

I hope you can help me.

Thanks.

Ana
P.S. don't know it it's relevant: I have office 365

  • Hello Ana,

Thank you for reaching out! It sounds like the issue you're experiencing is related to the positioning of pop-up windows in Trados Studio 2021 after changing your screen setup. This is a common issue when working with multiple monitors, as the software may still be trying to display the pop-up window on the previous screen configuration. Here's how you can resolve this:

    ### Step 1: Reset the Window Layout in Trados Studio

    1. Open Trados Studio 2021.

    2. Go to the **View** tab in the ribbon menu.

    3. Click on **Reset Window Layout**. This will reset all windows and pop-ups to their default positions.

    ### Step 2: Manually Move the Pop-Up Window

If the pop-up window still appears minimized on the taskbar:

    1. Hover over the Trados Studio icon on the taskbar until the pop-up preview appears.

    2. Right-click on the preview and select **Move** (or **Restore**, if available).

    3. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the window back into view. Once it appears on your screen, click your mouse to place it.

    ### Step 3: Adjust Display Settings

    1. Right-click on
