AutoSuggest works fine but stops working when Studio is restarted

Question

I'm testing the new 2026 version and have encountered a strange bug. 
 When I add an AutoSuggest dictionary to a project and start working, everything seems fine. 
 However, when I close Studio and reopen it later on, the AutoSuggest dictionary isn't recognized any longer (even though, naturally, the settings are all as they were before closing Studio). 
 I don't think there's much I can do about this on my side but I would like to know if this problem is known and if I can expect a fix in some future release. 
 If not, I will have to stick with my present 2022 version where AutoSuggest works just fine.

Hi Nadja Balogh , I am not sure whether you received my emails sent via the Support case. As mentioned there, this is indeed an issue in the latest versions of Trados Studio (2024 & 2026). We logged it for Development (as CRQ-45016), so it can be fixed in a future update. 
 The good news is that there is a workaround to get AutoSuggest working again in Studio 2026 as well. You only need to close and reopen the file in the Editor, without making any changes.
