Some days ago, Trados stopped processing line breaks as different segments. At the beginning I thought it was only for the new multilingual Excel plugin, but it's happening with Word files too (and probably with others). It started suddenly, as I said, and with all my TMs and languages. Any ideas of what may be going on? Thanks in advance!

First, what's a line break? Is it this character (↵) shown in Word? Or the pilcrow (¶) instead?
Does Trados split by paragraphs or show the whole Word document content in a single segment? I mention it because there is a setting (Paragraph based segmentation) in your TM file which lets split by paragraph:
It's weird that behaviour in several languages, but worth to check anyway your TMs…
Also ensure your Trados Studio 2022 is up-to-date. It should be 17.2.12.19268.
Thanks for your answer. As I mentioned, it has nothing to do with a particular TM or project, since it's happening even without a TM and with all my project templates. The symbol is this one (↵). It has to be something that has happened with a new update. It's also segmenting Excel files according to the cells and not even to full stops. It has changed all the basic segmentation rules for Word and Excel (I haven't checked other files).

By default, TMs don't segment at this character (↵). Check if your TMs have the full stop rule:
If you have several TMs, check the one at the top of the list.
It's also segmenting Excel files according to the cells and not even to full stops.
Let's find out the root of the Word files issue, and probably the Multilingual file type will follow as well.

I should have said Check if there is a special rule to deal with the soft returns (↵) in the TM settings.

Thanks again for your answer. As I mentioned in the question, it already did the segmentation properly (I already have all those rules activated). The problem seems to be the update of the Multilingual Excel. I have disabled it and everything went back to normal. Thanks for your help again!!!!!!
