IDML file: error when trying to import file into project.

Question

Hi. I'm trying to create a project using an IDML file. 
 When I try to import the file into the project, I get the error message IDML file created using a newer version of Adobe InDesign that is not supported. 
 My version of Trados Studio is Trados Studio 2024 SR1 - 18.1.4.6694 
 I have gone through: File - Options - Adobe InDesign CS4-CC IDML - Common and ticked the Process unsupported file versions. 
 I still get the error message.

Hi Anne Fox , 
 Please do that change from Projects view - Home-Project Settings - as the path you took is for future projects and the change needs to be done from Projects view for active projects, please see the documentation:

 Do that please and let me know if you still get the error. 
 Like Jerzy said, it might also be a corrupted file.
