Issue with Translation Memory – Unable to Open and Repair Failed

Dear All,

Today, unexpectedly, my translation memory (TM) stopped working and displayed an error message stating that it cannot be opened.

I have tried all the solutions I could find in the forums, but unfortunately, none resolved the issue. After using the TM Repair app, the repaired TM file is now 0 KB in size.

I still have the original corrupted TM file, but it cannot be opened, and any attempt to repair it results in an empty file.

Could you please advise on any possible way to recover the data or restore the TM?

    Subject: Issue Resolved – Translation Memory Restored

    Hi All,

    I wanted to share an update. I finally found a solution: since OneDrive keeps version history, I was able to restore an older version of the TM, and that resolved the issue.

    To ensure there are no lingering problems, I created a new TM and imported all the data from the restored version into it. Everything is now working as expected.
