I have a large project with 2000 xml files. Translator says he left comments in some of them. Is there a quick way to export all comments into a single file without opening each bilingual file?

The comment view plugin would do exactly what you want:
In the latest version there is a "Exports Comments" button, just highlight all the sdlxliff files you have and select the button (it creates an Excel file)
