The Trados Studio 2022 configuration screen opens every time I open the program, so I have to enter my email address every time...

You have two troubleshooting options there, please try the first one and go for the second one if the first does not solve this.

The instructions in the referred KB article do work, but unfortunately, most of the time only shortly. We have two PCs in our staff where this problem comes up again and again even after we carried out all those problem-solving steps. We even looked at it with RWS support and did not manage to get completely rid of the problem. Also, the problem is not restricted to Studio 2022, it also shows up in Studio 2024 on those affected PCs.
I guess there must be something peculiar on those PCs that triggers this behaviour.
