I am trying to set up a project in 28 languages in Trados 2024. The project contains 369 Flare files per language.It looks like Trados wants to display me all the files similarly like in hte Manager view, and it siply does not work. I waited 55 minutes and gave up. Applying PM language by language works well, just takes me 28 klicks instead of one and more attention.
My Trados Version is Tradis Studio 2024 18.0.0.1013
I'm not sure if this is a complaint that something doesn't work, or a complaint that it's just clunky? If the latter I completely agree. I think if you're working with that many files you need to consider using Map files which can significantly reduce your overhead, especially if you do the same setup repeatedly, although even Map files could be significantly improved by supporting one Map file for all languages instead of one Map file for each language. You can vote for that idea here as it hasn't had much traction which is either because not many people work with Perfect Match and multiple languages with many files, or they are just happy to click :-)
