  • Hello,

I understand you're having trouble exporting files to the target version in Trados Studio. The error message you're seeing, "Object reference not set to an instance of an object," is usually due to a null reference, meaning that the program is trying to access an object that hasn't been initialized.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you resolve this issue:

    Step 1: Open Trados Studio.

Step 2: Go to File > Options > Editor > Languages.

Step 3: On the right side of the window, ensure that the target language is set. If it's not, select the appropriate language from the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Click OK to save your changes.

Step 5: Try to import your documents for translation again.

If you're still experiencing issues after following these steps, it might be a good idea to check if there are any updates available for Trados Studio. You can do this by going to the "Help" menu and selecting "Check for Updates."

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
