I have a project linked to 5 TMs (Trados Studio 2022).
The project contains one Word file.
When I run the "pre-translate" batch, from which of the 5 TMs does Trados take the segmentation rules ?
Since - possibly different - segmentation rules are attached to each TM, I was wondering which ones are used ?

In Trados Studio, when you have a project linked to multiple translation memories (TMs), the segmentation rules that are applied during the "Pre-Translate" batch task are taken from the primary TM. The primary TM is the first TM in the list of TMs in your project settings.

Step 2: Navigate to the "Project Settings" menu.
Step 3: In the "Language Pairs" section, select "All Language Pairs" or the specific language pair you're working with.
Step 4: Click on "Translation Memory and Automated Translation".
Step 5: The TMs are listed in order of priority. The first TM in this list is your primary TM, and its segmentation rules will be used during the "Pre-Translate" batch task.
Remember, if you want to use the segmentation rules from a different TM, you can adjust the order of the TMs in the list.
