I am a 2021 SDL Trados Freelancer Pro user and I am using Parallels to run Win 11. Since forever, I have been having issues with the termbase viewer size being very small, whereas the selected term is bigger.
I have just installed the trial version of 2022 but the issue persists.
Does holding the CTRL key while using the mouse wheel help?

Today the View is even more skewed, as the entry is very big, but the list is very small. The concordance search result, TM result and Editor are fine in size.
I was hoping these issues were resolved in 2022, as they are so annoying. But so far, it seems that if I am going to spend $$$ for the upgrade from 2021 to 2022 (and the upcoming 2024), I am still stuck with a defective software.

Yes! It’s a common shorcut to zoom in/out in other applications. Sorry it ddidn’t work…

I see now you have a Mac. Maybe you need to map some keys in your Mac? Please check Marian’s answer in this post: Shortcut Ctrl + Enter is not working anymore

This shortcut to zoom the Termbase View window works in my Trados Studio 2022.
Try resetting windows. Open the View tab and the then press the Reset Window Layout button.
Does anything, mapping in Parallels or resetting windows in Studio, work?
I am using a trial version of 2022, but I have a license for 2021. Right now I am testing 2022. Adding a term or resetting the window layout changes the zoom of the right pane (the one where a single term is displayed) but it doesn't affect the left pane, where the term list is.
The right pane goes from incredibly small as the left pane to incredibly large that it can't be clicked as in my last screenshot.
The left pane (term list) is so small I can barely read it.
I don't really understand how this can be so random and while I understand that Trados was meant to be Windows-based, it is pretty frustrating since I am paying a yearly Parallels license just to run Trados, and Trados doesn't perform 100% anyway.
I am just doing basic stuff (local projects with a TM and a TermBase)

Hello Jesús Prieto , I did.
SHIFT+ENTER and scrolling the mouse wheel does work on the right pane, but doesn't solve the left pane being tiny. To see the change you have to select a different term, so that the right pane gets refreshed. It is a bit annoying because you have to try multiple times, but it works. It doesn't solve the term list being supertiny. It only affects the right pane, where the single entry is shown.
I have also mapped CTRL+Enter as suggested by Marion. I wasn't having any issue with it, tbh.
While doing the mapping, I realized that part of my unhappiness with key mapping started when I switched from a regular Apple keyboard to a larger Apple keyboard with numpad.
In Parallels, the Enter on the numpad is not mapped as an Enter, but as a Num. The numpad is not working at all in Parallels, not even to type numbers.
I don’t use Mac, so I can’t help here, sorry.

I am using Word for Mac and zoom + ctrl works to zoom in and out. I don't have Word installed on Win 11, though.

I have opened Edge (Microsoft browser) and the CTRL+zoom works fine (zooms in and out, and ctrl+0 reset the zoom to 100%).
