File-based TM will not import

Hi

I have been trying for hours to import a file-based TM. I have followed all the client's instructions and tried reimporting the file to no avail. This is urgent. I would appreciate help.

I get this error message:

Trados Studio Project Settings window showing Translation Memory and Automated Translation settings with an error message at the bottom stating 'You have set up different translation memories or automated translation providers for certain language pairs.'

So this isn't a problem about importing, it's a problem of not knowing what the error message means... which is understandable!!

In your settings you have got  two places (at least) where you can add your translation memories.  You can add them under "All Language Pairs", and you can also add them under each language pair you have set up.  So in your case that would be "French (France) -> English (United Kingdom)".

You should not add them to both.  You seem to have done this which is why you get that message.  I recommend you go into the "French (France) -> English (United Kingdom)" and remove the ones in there so you only have them under "All Language Pairs".
