error 'Query not loaded'

I encountered an error message stating 'Query not loaded' when attempting to open a file in Trados on my work laptop. However, I can open the file without issues when accessing Work Trados on my Mac. It's worth noting that Trados is in the cloud.

  1. It is not a matter of network connection
  2. I have cleared cache and cookies:
  3. It is not an issue related to Firewall and Security Settings. I check that with the Help Desk dept.
  4. Not sure if it is a matter of Trados Plugins
  5. I have tried a different browser and device and I can access my Work Trados on the Cloud from my personal Mac and the issue is resolved. So, not sure if the problem is specific to my work laptop or a more general connectivity issue, however, Help Desk says everything looks fine
  6. I have restarted my Laptop but the issue is not resolved

  • Hello,

Based on your description, it seems like you've already tried some of the common solutions such as clearing your browser cache, checking your network connectivity, and even trying a different device. Since the issue is not present when you use your personal Mac, it's likely that the problem is specific to your work laptop.

Here are a few more steps you can try:

Step 1: Check for updates within the Trados application on your work laptop. There might be a new version or patch that could resolve your issue.

Step 2: Try disabling any Trados plugins temporarily. Sometimes, plugins can interfere with the normal operation of the software. If the issue is resolved after disabling the plugins, you can enable them one by one to identify which one is causing the problem.

Step 3: Check if there are any software or settings on your work laptop that might be interfering with Trados. This could include antivirus software, firewall settings, or even certain browser extensions.

Step 4: If none of the above steps work, you might want to consider reinstalling Trados on your work laptop. This can often resolve issues that are specific to one device.

Remember, it's always a good idea to back up your work and settings before making any major changes to your software or device.

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue. If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

    Best regards,
