Pretrans with MT not populating target

Question

Hi all, 
 I connect language weaver to my project and run pretranslation batch task to populate empty segments with MT. 
 However, when I open the files in the editor, the target is still empty. I have to click on every segment manually in order to populate them. 
 This doesn't happen in every project. Usually in largers ones. Using Trados Studio 2021 SR2 - 16.2.12.9338 
 Any thoughts, what's the cause?

 I encountered the same issue with Studio 2021. As the AI answer suggests, turning all other TMs off might do the trick. The issue was that when there was any fuzzy match, MT would not fill the segment.
