Is this related to the well known problem of a lack of word boundaries in some languages?  Chinese text as you show here does not use spaces or other delimiters to separate words, making it difficult for software to determine where one word ends and another begins.  I think this requires complex algorithms to accurately identify word boundaries that we don't currently have in Trados, but I believe it may be something AI can help with in the future.

If you use another software that already does this without fault I'd be interested to know?

Daniel Brockmann may have a view on this in case I'm completely wrong!

 Even in microsoft office word document, all the terms can be recognized accurately and easily. Could you make this similar to the search function in word document. As long as any charater, word, or words or phrase or even sentence or anything that are input in the search menu, it can definitely be searched and found immediately. 

We expect  trados to help us to search and mark all the terms, all the terms without any mistake. This is very important for the term consistency and quality of translation.

Hi jack zhong  - when you have a moment, can you send me the termbase and ideally also the document you were translating and send it to dbrockmann @ rws.com? We are currently in the process of doing some bigger refactoring in this area, and such examples can hopefully help us to improve the accuracy of the term recognition down the line (I agree with your frustration). We have found in the past that in many cases, complex terms with hyphens can provide a challenge, and this seems to be one of the examples. Can I also ask you to take a screenshot of Help - About Trados Studio so we can also check which version you are on? Thanks in advance, Daniel

Thank you for your reply. I am glad to hear that you are trying to solve problem and improve trados studio, and I am glad to send you the email. 

Besides, the failure for trados to recognise terms is not limited to hyphen but also with some other Chinese charaters.
