My terminology database does not show any results anymore.
I use a file-based one and usually had to delete it and activate it every time I opened Trados (which was strange, too). Now, it does not show any results at all anymore.
Can anyone help? Thank you very much in advance.

Maybe this is due to you keeping the termbase in OneDrive and it's set to be stored in the cloud? You can see it, but only the footprint as the file itself won't really be there. Worth checking that and make sure that the termbase is actually available locally at all times.

I have saved it on my desktop now but can see that it automatically synchronizes with the cloud. Not sure if that saving process was what I was supposed to do. But I'll see if it works next time I use it. And if not, I at least have a vague idea what to tell my internal IT.

Sounds as though this is indeed your problem. Yo may need to work with IT to either stop the folders you wish to use for your terminology from synching to cloud only (it is possible to set them as both cloud and local all the time), or use a location on your computer for such resources that are not synched at all.

Hello Cora, Reorganization in MultiTerm could be another solution. I often have the problem that no entries are displayed in Trados Studio. This is usually due to the fact that I have to reorganize the termbase in question after adding several dozens of terms. After that, the problem has always been solved. Open MultiTerm, open the termbase, switch to view Termbase Management and choose Reorganize in group Termbase Actions. Perhaps this helps.

Yes, you're right. We're now figuring out a space that will not automatically synch with the cloud anmore.
Good morning, Renate, and thank you, too, for your reply. This seems to be another very valuable thing to keep in mind. I have just reorganized (which was in fact very necessary!) and can see that the results are coming back.
Together with Paul's tip, I am confident that the problem is now or will be solved quickly.
